Biometric Time Clocks

Unitime's industry leading biometric time clocks provide the most accurate data collection solutions available by ensuring that employees must be present in order to record a punch. These technologies are the only proven methodology for preventing “buddy punching” or other time clock abuse.

Unitime offers two primary types of Biometric time clocks; FingerScan Identification, and Hand Geometry Identification technologies. Both biometric time clock offerings bring the flexibility of a full-function time and attendance terminal together with the sophistication of the most accurate identification technologies available.

Biometric time clocks are installed at convenient locations throughout a facility to make it easy for employees to perform punching transactions. Punching is performed using biometric hand scans or finger scans, and the resulting transactions are periodically uploaded to the host PC running the UNITIME Automated Timekeeping System. The patented Biometric technologies employed by Unitime offer a number of important advantages:

> Unparalleled accuracy and reliability
> Eliminates the expense and hassle of card-based systems
> Fast, easy enrollment and use
> Easily networked
> Improved security, accuracy, speed, and convenience

FingerScan Time Clocks
FingerScan time clocks are provided by Accu-time Systems (ATS) in the form of “Cyber Series” clocks using "Active Capacitance" technology. This technology is far more advanced than traditional “Finger Print technology” without the privacy concerns many employees may perceive.
