Unitime Systems, Inc. is a rapidly growing successful thirteen year old software solution development company headquartered in Boulder , Colorado .  Unitime provides frontline Labor Management and Time & Attendance solutions to over 2,800 mid-size to enterprise clients in manufacturing, healthcare, financial, and service industries.  Unitime Systems’ solutions integrate seamlessly with business systems such as ERP/MRP, Payroll and Human Resource systems.

We are seeking an experienced professional for the key role of Technical Product Specialist.  This individual will be responsible for leading software development projects to create a world class SaaS solution, writing development specifications, designing new features, providing quality assurance, and supporting internal staff with these products.


A successful candidate will demonstrate the following accomplishments:


2 to 5 years experience in:

  • Software development and/or development team leadership
  • Programming Specification/Technical Writing experience
  • Quality Assurance/Software Testing
  • Database – Relational database design/experience
  • Database – administration/management
  • Networking – TCP/IP setup and troubleshooting
  • Networking – Microsoft Server 2000, 2003
  • Software troubleshooting and problem-solving skills     

Preferred Skills

  • Microsoft T-SQL programming
  • Software programming/development (C#, ASP, VB and/or .Net experience preferred)
  • Experience troubleshooting network permissions and communication issues
  • Professional services/customer facing relationship management experience

Implementation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional for an Implementation Specialist I position.  This individual will be responsible for providing technical implementation, training and support to our customers, business partners and sales team via on-site, telephone, e-mail and remote connectivity tools.  This position requires 50% travel.

A successful candidate will demonstrate the following accomplishments:

Required Experience:  2 to 5 years in each of the following:

  • Database – Relational database design/experience
  • Database – administration/management
  • Networking – TCP/IP setup and troubleshooting
  • Networking – Microsoft Server 2000, 2003
  • Software troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Support Technician Tier II

Unitime Systems, Inc. is a rapidly growing successful fourteen year old software solution development company headquartered in Boulder, Colorado.  Unitime provides frontline Workforce Management and Time & Attendance solutions to over 3,000 mid-size to enterprise clients in manufacturing, healthcare, financial, and service industries.  Unitime Systems solutions integrate seamlessly with business systems such as ERP/MRP, Payroll and Human Resource systems.

We are seeking an experienced professional for a Support Technician II position.  This individual will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, business partners and sales team, through the telephone, e-mail and remote connectivity tools, utilizing expert knowledge of UNITIME Time and Attendance software and hardware products, features, and benefits. Technical Support will be provided for all stages of a project, from pre-sales to installation, deployment and troubleshooting.  Tier II support will also be a liaison and coordinator of IT additional resources for special projects and escalations.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Customer Escalation Management
  • Mentor and Train Tier 1 technicians
  • Tier 1 Backup (including Tier 1 customer calls as required)
  • Install and roll out applications, patches and upgrades.
  • Information liaison between support and professional services
  • Sales engineering knowledge resource
  • Special Project Management
  • Documentation Specialist
  • Knowledge base management
  • Development of Quality Assurance plans
  • Ability to prioritize projects and tasks based on client and business needs.
  • Available for travel 4 weeks per quarter.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1-3 years Technical Support experience
    Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic abilities in visual basic programming
  • Strong knowledge of SQL databases and scripting
  • Good analytical skills, problem-solving skills and ability to learn technical information
  • Ability to prioritize workload with high quality and accountability
  • Organizational skills with emphasis on follow-up
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented
  • Understanding of customer service techniques
  • Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and manage time
  • Computer proficient and technically savvy with good working knowledge of computers and Windows OS
  • Comfortable with hardware and software solutions
  • Standard business application software experience to include MS Office
