WinPunch Data Collection Program WinPunch is a data collection application that functions like a virtual timeclock on employee computers. Designed for businesses with a limited number of users at a single location, WinPunch is ideal for small to mid-sized office environments where a timeclock device isn't practical. Employees simply enter their personal badge numbers to clock in or out right on their own workstations or at a centrally-located computer kiosk. WinPunch is installed on individual workstations or a centrally located server, and employees access the application to enter punches. WinPunch may be configured to collect different types of punch transactions ranging from in-for-day and out-for-day to complex job transfers. When employees clock in through WinPunch, a punch file is updated on the UNITIME server where it is posted into the UNITIME Automated Timekeeping System. Fully Functional In addition to the standard types of transactions, WinPunch can be configured to allow employees to transfer between departments, jobs, or locations. Employees can also review their total hours for the pay period. WinPunch even includes a job costing function that can be used to collect complex labor transactions. Supervisor Functions WinPunch allows supervisors to create time transactions for employees who fail to punch. This function is password protected to prevent unauthorized access. |
